Ltd. is a consulting firm engaged in consulting assignments across diverse sectors in India, has been engaged with The Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society (ORMAS) to provide consulting services for Conducting Recruitment of Staff in ORMAS. In this regard, Kaapro invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Project Executive (Skill Development) on contractual basis.
‘The Odisha Rural Development and Marketing Society’ (ORMAS), is an autonomous body under Panchayati Raj Department, Government of Odisha. Registered under Societies Registration Act-1860, it has been rendering yeomen services in livelihood promotion and rural product marketing in Odisha since 1991. The Society plays critical role in facilitating marketing of rural products and in giving competitive edge for its promotion. A large proportion of rural households, producers in general and the rural artisans in particular who live in less favoured, marginal or more complex environment get advantage from it. At present, it is functioning in all the 30 districts across the State under the direct supervision of the respective district administration. With the implementation of National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), ORMAS has successfully facilitated implementation of several self-employment schemes.
The qualified & professional manpower is required to achieve the mission’s objectives.
Incumbent of this role shall be responsible for:
Coordinating and liaisoning with PIAs
Verifying course curriculum and help in designing better course curriculums.
Organizing screening and counseling camps
Organizing State level Reviews, Workshops, Conclaves, meetings
Organizing TOTs for trainers.
Maintaining the database of trainers/Resource Persons
Timely Updating the required information on PIAs.
Selection of PIAs for undertaking skill development programmes
Evaluating proposals submitted by PIAs.
Monitoring the quality of training programs being offered by PIAs
Liaisoning with different agencies line department, Gol
Providing overall guidance to training activities in skills development, audit compliance and compiling of Monthly, Quarterly, Annual reports
Undertaking periodic field visit and work closely with DSMS and Block Staffs to monitor progress of overall program component per annual plan and prepare necessary reports.
Generating solutions to the problem arising in the training centers of PIAs.
Responsible for capacity building of the subordinate staff and getting results from them
Monitoring the progress & also provide ongoing support depending upon the specific needs.
Responsible for documentation analysis of feedback etc
Training & Capacity building of staff at the District and Block Level
Completing any other task as assigned by ORMAS
Remuneration: Pay Band Rs. 9300-34800/- p.m. (based on the suitability of the candidate); Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- p.m.; Scale Equivalent to the Govt. Pay Band of 6th Pay Commission - S10B-, PB-2

Qualification: Full time MBA / Post Graduate Degree in Marketing / Rural Management / Rural Development
Age: 25-35 Years as on application closing date
Experience & Knowledge:
Applicant for this job must have:
Minimum 2 years progressive experience in the relevant field.
Strong understanding of skill development concepts.
Strong interpersonal, entrepreneurial and communication skills.
Strong presentation and articulation skills both verbal and written
Ability to network with public and private stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of skills gap Analysis, Employee potential appraisal, organizing large scale Mobilizing and Counselling for rural youths
